This site is intended to become a comprehensive catalogue of Air Force Memorials in the UK relating to World War 2, however it is currently UNDER CONSTRUCTION, and probably always will be. All Counties under current survey are listed in the main menu. Click on the thumbnails for a full view.

MAP of Memorials visited

 

This is a map of the UK showing all the memorials on the site.

 

Well, it will be eventually- I suspect it will take some time to put together.  (Current memorial count= 1, North Killingholme.)

 

Apologies if you can't find the memorial you're looking for- at the moment Google Maps won't accept names on the individual points, but if you have a vague idea of where to look, you may be able to find it by trial and error. 

 

Each memorial site has a link to the associated webpage on this website.......... although early tests show that every time I add to the main menus, it messes up the links to the individual pages.

So it may be that though the map shows a small photo, to find the actual web page you would have to resort to the menu on the left.
